Creep It Real at Little Stanley Street

With Halloween creeping up, we’re frantically searching for events to get us into the festive spirit. Now we can look no further than Trick or Treat Little Stanley Street in Southbank.

On Friday October 25 and Saturday October 26, Little Stanley Street will once again be home to the spookiest trail of them all where guests can wander the street where Brisbane meets Halloween. Last year’s trick or treat trail was such a success that this year the family-friendly event will return to the dining precinct for food, drinks, and fun.

If you’re looking for some fun, the trail will have themed activities for everyone to enjoy and there will be Halloween characters along the street to add to the spook.

Last year’s favourite activity, the themed pumpkin patch will be decked out for the event so that guests can take the perfect Halloween shot (your insta will love this!). Take the family and snap the perfect Halloween memory.

Want something to remember the event by? For a gold coin donation, you could be bringing home a pumpkin from the patch, that you can then carve into a spooky friend (how boo-tiful). Plus, your gold coin will be donated to the Queensland Children’s Hospital so why not?

Little Stanley Street is offering complimentary trick or treat bags to patrons because trick or treating is for everyone!

Want to know where to get the best bites? From 5pm-8pm the trail will be alive with themed restaurants and Halloween characters serving you at each establishment (we can’t wait to see their costumes).

For those looking to treat their stomach, some of Brisbane’s finest restaurants have designed meals and drinks in time for Halloween. The Gnocchi Brothers will be stirring up a pumpkin Gnocchi for a frightful feast (our stomachs are ready).

On Friday October 25, Ahmet’s will have a special roast pumpkin pide for only $10 (excuse us while we put that in our calendar).

Brisbane favourite, Hop & Pickle have hopped on the bandwagon and are offering sinful cocktails for the adults such as Zombie Brains- a concoction of Midori, vodka, lemonade and strawberry puree garnished with a cherry. Other Halloween cocktails at Hop & Pickle include Black Magic and the Bloody Eyeball Margarita (we like the sound of those!). Kids also have spooky drinks and can choose either the Frankenstein ($6) or Fairy Fizz ($6). With the monster capsicum mixed with vegetarian bean mix/savoury mince and a side of monster vomit (coleslaw) + chips or the monster GOO dessert, the kids menu sounds delectable.

Mucho Mexicano is living up to their name and giving you mucho drink options that sound so sweet. We’ll have thee Jack O Lada, Bloody Candy Basket and the Candied Apple Cinnamon Pie, thanks.

If names could sell a drink, Mister Paganini has sold us. With names like The Poison Apple ($16) and Rise from The Grave ($18), we’ll be talking about these drinks for weeks.

Want a drink that stands out? Ole are welcoming purple drink, El Gotica, and the Green Witch Martini (it’s actually green!) to their menu for Halloween.

For one of the best free Halloween events in Brisbane, head on down to Little Stanley Street.

And with the amount of good food and fun activities, you’ll be sure to have a spooktacularly gourd time.
