The guessing game has already started: who will be here for Future 15?
The line up for Future Music Festival 2015 lands 6pm Wednesday October 22 with dates and venues already locked in for the 2015 edition of FMF to close the Aussie summer season.
Future and Mushroom Group promise “We’ve got you THE biggest names of today – global, powerhouse chart-toppers – alongside the hottest stars of tomorrow, making Future Summer 2015 our most amazing festival to date!
FMF has always delivered in the star stakesboth in terms of quality underground and above-bar crowd pleasers. Eric Prydz came to Australia the first time in history thanks to FMF, featuring other premium acts from the past like Stone Roses, The Prodigy, New Order, Chemical Brothers, Empire of The Sun, James Taylor, Joachim Garraud, John Digweed, Eddie Halliwell, N*E*R*D, Pharrell Williams, Richie Hawtin, Etienne De Crecy, Booka Shade, Pendulum, Dizzee Rascal, Professor Green, Skrillex..and the list goes on. Superstar Exports Tommy Trash, tyDi and the Stafford Brothers all got their start on the Future line up, so it’s not surprising FMF is the platform for all things top heavy and awesome.
Future 15, however, will see Brisbane pop up half way through the tour, rather than traditionally kicking things off. Given that Sydney brings in over 55,000 kids to the yard, it’s hardly surprising that Future wants to hit it hard, straight up.
