BIGSOUND has announced the first 50 acts for the BIGSOUND Live line-up in 2015. The darlings of triple j unearthed sees the usual of Melbourne vying against Sydney with Brisbane and Perth balancing the independent singer-songwriter-producer collation.

Brisbanites Babaganouj return with The John Steel Singers in full music mode, as local rocking legends WAAX share the Sunshine State bill with former Giants of Science Townsvillian Ben Salter jumping onboard for the BS ride. Singer-songwriter Timothy Carroll connects with Mexican Melburnian guitarist-composer Oscar Dawson for Holy Holy. Victorian sisterhood Stonefield leads the charge with restless house City Calm Down on the same local agenda as punk band Cosmic Psychos, hardcore High Tension, laidback Baro’s artistic talents for the ears and the insides, electronic indie popstress Ella Thompson and Jazz hop Slum Sociable. Meanwhile, we wonder if Muscles has recovered from his pyramid project of Parklife 2010. From Sydney, folk femme fatales All Our Exes Live In Texas share the compatriot badge with Gang of Youths, post-hardcore band Caulfield, blues rock band The Snowdroppers and 80s post disco soundscape artist Donny Benét. From the other side of the world in Western Australia, indie popsters Methyl Ethyl join newly solo Katy Steele. And there’s still more. Scroll down for the big names in indie musics.

BIGSOUND 2015 takes over Fortitude Valley as Australia’s premier music industry conference and artist showcase. A vibrant collection of musicians, buyers and experts from across the globe gather to explore the challenges of an ever-evolving music industry, while experiencing the next wave of music from Australia and beyond.
