2017 has already seen its fair share of epic movies hit the box office. From Guardians of the Galaxy 2 to the new DC addition Wonder Woman, there’s never been a better time to be a theatre-goer. Add in a large popcorn + drink combo, and you’re set for a wild adventure in the comfort of cinema chairs. 2017 is far from its pinnacle, but there are quite a few cinemas winners to enjoy as we get closer to the last of Winter.

Atomic Blonde

After watching the trailer at 3 times (okay it was 5), this is on the top of our watch list, simply because of its epic soundtrack. Set in Berlin during the Cold War, Agent Lorraine Broughton (Charlize Theron) plays a kick-ass undercover M16 agent investigating the murder of a fellow agent and recovering a missing list of double agents.

Annabelle: Creation

The Dark Tower

When Idris Elbas and Matthew McConaughey join forces, you know you’re in for a good time.  After several setbacks along the way including multiple failed screen writes, loyal lovers of Stephen King’s The Dark Tower series will be pleased to finally see the action come to the big screen. The film tells the story of Ronald Deschain (Elba), the last gunslinger, who is locked in an eternal battle with Walter O'Dim (a less than chill McConaughey), also known as the Man in Black. With the fate of worlds at stake, two men collide in the ultimate battle between good and evil.

Logan Lucky

Channing Tatum, Adam Driver, Sebastian Stand and Daniel Craig. Do we need to say much more?
