Dermalogica BioLumen-C Serum, $130

Yeah OK technically this one hit shelves in June but I only just discovered it so give me a break! Love a good vitamin C serum for evening up skin tone but this one goes above and beyond (probably why it’s a BioLumen-C Serum). It brightens, firms, nixes fine lines, encourages cell turnover and strengthens your skin’s own defences meaning it can block out nasties and give you kick-ass skin from within. So basically it’s a superhero.

Alpha-H Liquid Laser Prescriptive range, from $45

Their Liquid Gold is a holy grail product so naturally, the skincare world is abuzz whenever Alpha-H brings out new skincare saviours. I couldn’t pick just one product from this range; partly because I’m indecisive, partly because it’s all awesome. So far I’ve tried the Liquid Laser Cleansing Oil (hello clean, soft and brighter skin), the Liquid Laser Concentrate (a do-it-all serum you need to get in your routine stat) and the Liquid Laser Super C 20% Cream (goodbye pigmentation. Welcome to the lush lineup, Jurlique cleansers! These luxe, plant-based offerings are designed to banish tired, lifeless skin, and leave behind a nourished, glowing complexion. I’ve fallen in love with the Nourishing Cleansing Oil and the Radiant Skin Foaming Cleanser as the perfect one-two double cleanse duo. The oil (with black elderflower extract) removes impurities and takes off my makeup while giving my skin a nice, light glow. Then the foaming cleanser helps hydrate my winter skin with rosa gallica flower extract, and is chock-full of antioxidants to help my complexion battle the elements.

Maybelline New York Total Temptation Brow Definer, $17.95

Love, love, love me a bit of cream to powder formula. It has a really good amount of pigmentation that defines without being overwhelming. The angled tip gives good application, and then brush the colour through with the spoolie to shape and fluff. Available in Blonde, Medium and Dark Brown here.

Weleda Gentle Cleansing Foam, $24.95

If you haven’t tried Weleda’s winter must-have moisturiser Skin Food yet you need to get on that. Together with this new Gentle Cleanser, they’re the perfect pair for cleaner, more hydrated skin when the weather dries it out. Made for normal and combination skin, this cleansing formula keeps the skin’s moisture balance even due to its ingredients list full of natural plant extract goodies including calming witch hazel and cooling marshmallow extract.
