Let’s be honest… Christmas shopping can be a real pain in (especially when you’ve got great aunt Mary for Secret Santa). Like a shining star on top of the Christmas tree, Coorparoo Square has heard our problems and is teaming up with Brisbane’s Metre Market to bring us a one-off Christmas pop-up market!

The first to deck the halls of Coorparoo’s new precinct, the boutique and creative market will be welcoming local designers, recycled fashions, handmade homewares, DIY workshops and live music from 10am to 2pm, Saturday December 8. Grab a coffee or bite to eat and wander through the carefully curated line-up of stalls.

If you’ve got a hankering to get your creative side out, take part in the guided wreath making workshop which will kick off at 11am on Market day. All materials and tools are included as well as nibbles plus you’ll take your masterpiece home with you on completion! There are only limited spots available, so buy your tickets here now and avoid disappointment!

The festivities will continue from December 10 – 20 with the Coorparoo Square Cash Cube that’ll give you the opportunity to go into the draw and win retailer prizes and gift cards! Head down to the square between 4pm – 8pm, Monday to Friday and 12pm – 4pm, Saturday to Sunday to try your luck.

Harbouring an unhealthy addiction of watching too many dog videos, Danica is a lover of the great outdoors. While her greatest skill may be the ability to rap ‘Fergalicious’ perfectly, her inability to remember her left and rights has proven to be her greatest downfall in life. When she’s not on the beach or hiking up another mountain, you can expect to find her trying to satisfy her Tim-Tam addiction with surprise, suprise… another packet of Tim-Tams. It seems like no-one told her they aren’t a suitable daily breakfast.
