Attention all chicken wing enthusiasts – we’re about to rock your world with some news that you’ll love... National Chicken Wing Day is almost upon us! Yes, this glorious day is returning once again on July 29 and we’re here to tip you off on all the best spots to celebrate this public holiday. While it's not *technically* a public holiday, it damn-well should be!

If you're a fan of pairing wings with biers, then The Bavarians have got you covered across their three restaurants: Munich Brahaus, The Bavarian and Beerhaus.

At all three venues, you'll be able to score up to 20 buffalo chicken wings with every full-priced drink purchase at only 10c each. That's only $2 in total!! Make an afternoon of it, gather your mates and organise a date to get rid of some of your spare change.

If you’re a bit of a daredevil, The Bavarians will also be hosting their annual ghost-pepper wing challenge and let us tell you... this is not for the faint-hearted. Kicking off at 6.30pm at each of the three restaurants, the ghost pepper wings are smothered in a special house-made sauce containing a mix of three different kinds of pepper: cayenne, habanero and the formidable and hottest of them all, ghost pepper. The contestant to eat the most ghost pepper wings in one minute will be crowned champion and win a $100 restaurant voucher! You’ll have to make a booking here to join the challenge.

The chicken party continues at El Camino Cantina, where you'll be able to score 10-cent chicken wings alllllllllllllll day. Diners who purchase a 24oz margarita, chalice of beer or large soft drink can purchase up to 20 wings, all of which are deliciously coated in one of five sauces: BBQ, jerk spice, spiced soy, buffalo or diablo.

So if you’re a fiend for a good chicken wing, prepare your belly and call all your friends—you know where to be this July 29! Make sure you book a table at your chosen restaurant to secure your spot—you wouldn’t want to miss out on National Chicken Wing Day!
