Whether you’ve been saving up your gold coins for a rainy day to treat yourself or all of your overtime has been adding up, March is the month to make it happen. Think full foodie experiences, a night out filled with cocktails or that yoga class you’ve been thinking about… We’ve rounded up the top experiences popping up this month you need to spend your extra dosh on!

1. Lily Restaurant

Lily is the brand new exclusive restaurant to check out on Brisbane’s Southside. Offering a stylish and vibrant ambience, Lily is a unique venue delivering a standout dining experience. The menu is composed of fresh ingredients and a fusion of flavours making the Gypsy Queen Cocktail a must-try. Perfectly paired with Beef Brisket, this cocktail is to be enjoyed amongst friends and family.

2. P’Nut Street Noodles

Bringing a taste of Asia to your backyard in Brisbane, P’Nut Street Noodles (Very) NasiGoreng is the closest you’ll get to Indonesia in under $15. This delectable dish of fried rice wok tossed with chilli sambal, fresh veggies and eggs are both spicy and refreshing. P’Nut Street Noodles take pride in serving up authentic flavours and the NasiGoreng is deliciously intoxicating.

3. Outdoor Movies – Mt Coot-tha

If you’re up for splashing a little extra cash this month, ditch the usual movie trip for something unique and exciting. Say goodbye to stuffy cinemas and bask in the fresh air and open ambience of Mt Coot-tha’s Sunset Cinema. Featuring a wide range of movies from the classics like Top Gun to the new releases, including A Star is Born and Bohemian Rhapsody. General admission will only set you back around $20 or for a more up-scale luxurious package the Lawn Lounge is $55 – and totally worth it!

4. Brisbane Ice Cream Festival – Chef’s Playground

Unfortunately, the Ice Cream Festival itself is sold out, but before you start kicking yourself for getting in too late, check out the Chef’s Playground on Saturday 23 March at 7.30pm. There are still a few tickets on offer and for $99 each this is one night out you will not regret. This is a first for Brisbane and a first for the Ice Cream Festival – four renowned chefs will be under the same roof for one night only whipping up two courses each inspired by all things cold and creamy. If you’re still not convinced… there will also be wine.
