You know summer’s right around the corner when mangoes come back into season in Brisbane — and nothing compares to that first juicy bite of a fresh Queensland mango, right?
If you agree, you need to get yourself down to the Brisbane Night Market Mango Festival in Rocklea! Every Friday from September 20 — October 11, you can celebrate all things mango, with everything from mango-inspired street food and drinks (think mango salsa bao, Maui mango pie, mango ice-cream cocktail and more!), mango games AND a mango-eating competition, with the winner scoring $200!
The market kicks off from 4pm and doesn’t end until 10pm, so it’s safe to say that for the night, you’ll be living your best mango life surrounded by the best produce Queensland has to offer.
And if you’re not keen on mangoes, no worries! The Brisbane Night Market is also home to some of the city’s best food trucks and vendors, as well as live music, market stalls and lots of family fun, including a dance party and face painting. Entry to the markets is $2.50 and children under 15 are free — PLUS there is free parking, so you don’t need to stress about leaving the festival early!
So whether you’re looking for a pick-me-up after work or want to take your family and mates out for a feast, the Brisbane Night Market Mango Festival is where you need to be this month! Who will we see there?
