In this “spirited” all-singing all-dancing review, it’s more jingle balls than jingle bells; get ready to never hear your favourite Christmas carols the same way again. Add in a dash of partial nudity and it’s sure to get you in the mood—the holiday mood I mean… OR DO I?
The show’s move to La Boite’s Roundhouse Theatre proves to be a stellar choice, with the audience on three sides and a “thrust” (ooh er) stage giving a really intimate feel to what is a very sexy show.
The live band having such a great presence on stage also adds to the energy and atmosphere of the show.
A Very Naughty Christmas has been somewhat of a tradition for me in the past couple of years and I hope to continue that long into the future. After all, Christmas isn’t Christmas until leather-jacket-clad Santa says “HOT!”.
