This exclusive dining experience puts the people, the passion, and the produce behind Australia’s premium grain fed beef front and centre

If you’ve ever wondered where your beef really comes from—or just love a good steak with a great story—then Meet the Makers is your kind of night out. Happening for one night only on 12 June at BOS Restaurant in Brisbane, this unique paddock-to-plate experience is your chance to connect with the people behind Australia’s grain fed beef industry, and enjoy a next-level dinner while you’re at it.

Presented by Australian Grain Fed Beef and the Australian Lot Feeders’ Association (ALFA) in collaboration with JBS Australia, Meat & Livestock Australia (MLA), and celebrity chef Adrian Richardson, Meet the Makers isn’t just about what’s on the plate (although that will be spectacular). It’s about getting to know the producers, chefs, and industry leaders who are reshaping how we think about meat—ethically, environmentally, and deliciously.

A mouthwatering menu, paddock to plate

On the night, you’ll indulge in a menu curated by Adrian Richardson, head chef of BOS Restaurant and Australia’s unofficial steak whisperer. Every course is designed to celebrate the flavour, tenderness, and consistency of premium grain fed beef, prepared with finesse and paired with the perfect wine.

Get ready for a flavour-packed lineup including:

  • Bresaola, wagyu, olives, rocket, parmesan
  • Cured wagyu beef cone with pickled walnut and crème fraîche
  • Pure Prime 100-day grain fed MB3+ Scotch Fillet
  • Yardstick 100-day grain fed MB2+ Dry Aged Striploin on the Bone
  • Tajima 365-day fed Wagyu MB8-9 Rump Cap
  • Delicious sides to round out the experience
  • Paired wines and a specialty cocktail on arrival

But it’s not just about the food. You’ll also be part of an intimate, interactive panel discussion with Chef Richardson and the producers themselves. Learn the answers to questions like “What does ‘days on feed’ actually mean?” and “How does grain feeding impact animal welfare and sustainability?” It’s an open-table conversation about the real processes behind the premium product on your plate.
