There can be a lot of benefits of using skincare that’s from the same family. Firstly, you know all the ingredients will play together well. Secondly, well, they look really cute all lined up on the vanity. So when Bobbi Brown came out with a matching eye cream to one of my fave multitasking moisturisers – Vitamin Enriched Face Base – I knew I had to give it a whirl.
I haven’t been quiet about recommending the OG Vitamin Enriched Face Base to people across the years. It’s a super hard working oil-free moisturiser and primer all in one: think rich yet lightweight, hydrating, softening, full of antioxidants, the list goes on. It creates a great base for makeup, while also reducing the appearance of fine lines and protecting you from environmental damage.
And good news! The Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Eye Base is a perfect companion to the hero product. This little product is a hydrating wake-up call for your eyes. It glides on nice and creamy, isn’t greasy, and sinks into the skin fast leaving the perfect base for makeup application. It’s thinner than the Face Base, meaning it can be better absorbed by the delicate skin around your eyes. One of the things I love is that it fills in and softens that crepey skin so that my makeup doesn’t settle into those creases I like to pretend I don’t have yet.
These are definitely two products I recommend keeping it all in the family with. Using both the Face and Eye Bases leaves your face as a moisturised, prepped uniform canvas to hold your makeup tight through the day.
