Dating back to the 1700s, High Tea has been the pinnacle of must-attend events for the most social of socialites and The Inchcolm’s General Manager, Roberto Russo, says the boutique hotel’s new Sunday events will definitely be as Instagram-worthy as those seen in history books.
“Executive Chef, Michael Jackson, has been thoroughly curating an intricate menu of delectable savoury and sweet eats for our new High Tea offering”.
“What better way to accompany our full High Tea spread than with our extensive range of exotic tea and coffee styles, or free-flowing Champagne for those who wish to upgrade their experience,” says Mr Russo.
Guests will be served their High Tea over a three-tier platter featuring savoury delicacies such as Yarra Valley Caviar Crumpet, Confit Duck Liver Pithivier and Chicken Brioche Rolls. Also being served are traditional tea sandwiches with a twist; Chicken, Mustard & Mayonnaise Finger Sandwich as well as Egg Salad Gribiche and Cress Finger Sandwiches.
Sweet treats include freshly baked Lemonade Scones served with seasonal jam and creme fraiche along with Madeleines, Macarons and Chocolate Almond Cake served. Guests will also sip away on bottomless barista crafted tea and coffee, all for $69pp.
For those who want to elevate their High Tea experience, add on Two Hours of free-flowing Taittinger Champagne for just $99pp.
“Of course we always encourage our guests to look at booking a room as well so they can make the most out of their weekends and perhaps enjoy our Three Martini Lunch on a Saturday, and relax at High Tea on Sunday, where they can retire to their comfortable suite and not worry about allocating a designated driver.
