With events such as Rosé Revolution and Negroni Week in their back pocket, Fish Lane Arts Precinct’s venues are banding together once again to shake up a brand new event … say bienvenidos to MARCH INTO MARGARITA!

Margy lovers are set to be spoiled with a roster of new tequila-based tipples that can be enjoyed for the whole month of March. Bar Brutus, Chu the Phat, Hello Please, Kiki Kiosk, Midtown, Southside and Saccharomyces will all be serving up a variety of creative quenchers made with Espolòn Tequila that embodies the essence of Mexico’s land and culture.

Expect the unexpected with the “always on” lineup of cocktails, as some margs aim to inject a little sweetness and others a little spice to your step.

In true Fish Lane fashion, the party won’t end there. Dig out your sombreros as four of the Fish Lane retailers are set to host epic fiestas within their venues. Southside Restaurant is hosting the inaugural Margarita event, Margs-A-Million, on Sunday, March 3.

A hand holds a glass with margarita in it, next to a bottle.

Swapping out their usual pan-Asian fare for something a little more spicy, Southside is filling up our cups with all things margaritas and agave at their Margs-A-Million festival on March 3. Experience an array of highly creative margaritas from Espolòn Tequila and other Tequila and mezcal-based cocktails. To complement the festivities, Benny Lam and his team of chefs are working with the talented folks from fellow West End staple Mama Taco to create a one-off collaborative festival food pop-up for the day! With sessions available at 12 pm and 2 pm, a $49 per person ticket will get your entry into the fiesta and two drink tickets.

The Margarita Edit

Thursday, March 7 | 6.30 pm | $85 per person

The newest bar haunt on the laneway, Midtown Bar, is throwing an intimate affair for marg lovers, showcasing their delectable small plates paired with tequila-infused tipples. The Margarita Edit will shake up their famous flight of martinis so guests can enjoy classic, passionfruit, spiced lychee and a Tommy’s marg while they snack the night away. Tickets are extremely limited, so marg lovers are urged to get in quick to taste what all the hype is about.
