We have our fingers firmly crossed we don’t have a lockdown so Brisbane can celebrate Queensland’s diverse communities Sunday 10 October with MOSAIC Festival at Roma Street Parkland.
MOSAIC Multicultural Festival 2021 invites locals, families, foodies and musos from all walks of life to celebrate the vast range of cultures that make up the River City. Hosted by Multicultural Australia, MOSAIC 2021 offers an eclectic program of dance, music and the arts, a range of family-friendly activities, and a smorgasbord of mouth-watering dishes.
MOSAIC 2021 promises a little something for everyone, with music headliners like traditional Mexican band, The Mad Mariachi; Brisbane favourites, classical, jazz and gypsy fusion group, Cigany Weaver; and, world folk-jazz band, Estampa, which will be accompanied by a range of food stalls celebrating flavours of the world, including a special showcase from of African by Saba Abraham, owner of Mu’ooz, surrounded by the atmosphere created by some of the state’s most exceptional performers, including the Queensland World Dance Academy.
