Dreamworld’s biggest ever ride, Steel Taipan is officially opening on Wednesday the 15th of December, on the park’s 40th birthday.
Steel Taipan will be the Southern Hemisphere’s first triple launch rollercoaster – meaning that the rollercoaster launches forward, backwards and then forwards again. You can speed around the track at 105km/hr with a G-Force of 3.8.
To add to the thrills, the Steel Taipan has the world’s first spinning gondola at the back of the ride, independently spinning 360 degrees as you are plunged through the ride’s twists and turns.
