Benefit Cosmetics has made May 2019 all about giving back with their Bold Is Beautiful global philanthropy project.
During May, 100 per cent of profits from Benefit’s signature brow wax services in Myer will be donated to local charities who focus on empowering women and girls the world over to be bold, believe in themselves and reach their full potential.
The charities who will be receiving the benefits of this fab initiative include Look Good Feel Better, Fitted for Work and Sister2Sister.
“The vision of the Bold is Beautiful Project is to affect change and creating a long-lasting, positive change in the lives of women and girls worldwide through local charities providing education and mentorship, economic self-sufficiency and access to wellness,” a Benefit spokesperson says. “We want to GIVE BACK to the communities that Benefit calls home, through donations, volunteering, and raising awareness.”
And if you want to splash your life with a bit of extra colour, you could contribute even more to the initiative. A special edition 3D BROWtones in Magenta ($43) hits the shelves this month, with all (yes ALL) of the profits going to Bold is Beautiful ALL YEAR ROUND.
Just think: you could have PINK BROWS for your next music festival appearance. Or you know, just in the office, because PINK. The new colour release will cost $43 from all Myer Benefit counters.
Since the inception of Bold Is Beautiful in 2015, Benefit has raised and donated more than US$16.5 million dollars to local charities supporting women and girls. This year they have pledged another AU$200,000 AUD which will bring Australia’s total donation to AU$1 million in 5 years.
