If you’ve ever wanted to see a ghost story brought to life, then grab tickets to The Woman in Black’s Australian tour while you can.

Beginning in Brisbane, The Woman in Black tells the story of a lawyer obsessed with a curse that he believes has been cast over him and his family by the spectre of a Woman in Black. He engages a sceptical young actor to help him tell his terrifying story and exorcise the fear that grips his soul.

It all begins innocently enough, but then, as they reach further into his darkest memories, they find themselves caught up in a world of eerie marshes and moaning winds. The show definitely has star power behind it, featuring the performing talents of John Waters (Doctor Doctor, Offspring, Rake) and Daniel MacPherson (Land of Bad, Foundation, Neighbours).
The show has quite the history on stage—it is the second longest running play in Britain after Agatha Christie’s The Mousetrap.

It’s on for a limited season only, til May 11, so grab tickets while you can.
The Woman in Black, Playhouse Theatre, QPAC, until May 11.
