Okay, it’s officially official. September is now our favourite month of the year. Not just because it’s Spring, but because it’s Formaggio Month which essentially means a month dedicated to cheese!

For 30 days of pure decadence, Cucina Vivo at The Star Gold Coast has created a special dedicated cheese menu that is bound to satisfy every cheese fantasy you’ve ever had (and just remember…. calories don’t count in Formaggio Month).  

The Piatto di Formaggi will see a enjoy a selection of Italian cheeses accompanied with seasonal fruit. You can never go wrong with a cheese board and some wine. For the pasta lovers, it’ll be hard to look past the Maccheroni al Tartufo e Formaggio (aka truffle mac and cheese), which is served at the table in a heckin’ flaming parmesan cheese wheel.

The Burrata features a soft Italian cheese with coal-roasted eggplant, heritage tomato and date gel while the Foccacia Formaggio delivers a crispy thin pizza base topped with parmigiana, mozzarella, gorgonzola and provolone. Just in case you missed it, that’s a 4-cheese pizza people!

With stunning views from the open terrace an authentic Italian dishes, you better brie-lieve this is the cheesiest spot in town.
