It’s beginning to look a lot like beauty advent calendar season! My very favourite thing about this time of the year is the abundance of amazing products you can try at super discounted prices thanks to the humble (or not so humble) advent calendar. Whether they’re full size products or travel size, one thing is for sure when it comes to calendar bounty—it will cost you way less than it would at recommended retail price. Here are some of my picks for the best advent calendar in beauty, makeup and skincare for 2023.
L’Occitane Classic Beauty Advent Calendar, $119
If there’s one beauty advent calendar that is on my must-have list for 2023, it’s L’Occitane. The Classic Beauty advent calendar this year is overflowing with the very best body, skin and hair products from the French beauty house. I’m very driven by scent and the fragrances of L’Occitane products are DIVINE (hello Verbena and Osmanthus!). The Classic calendar is full of deluxe travel size products (plus one full size product!), perfect for popping a little luxury in your carry on luggage if you’ve got a cheeky vacay booked this year. Or just popping in your shower for a mid-week treat.
Lacura Skin Science 12 Days of Caviar Illumination advent calendar, $29.99
Look, technically this is a special buy that’s been and gone in Aldi, but it’s worth popping it in your thoughts in case there are still some floating around (or to jump on next year as soon as they’re released!) Lacura Skin Science Caviar set is well known in beauty circles as a dupe of a much MUCH more expensive luxury brand (IYKYK). Each product in the calendar contains powerful anti-ageing caviar extract—an energetic active ingredient which is rich in protein, vitamins, minerals and lipid components

Look out darlings, she’s back and she’s BOUGIE. Seriously, it’s the type of box you just don’t throw out, complete with jeweled handles on each intricate drawer (jewelery box after Christmas is done, anyone?).
