Mike Tyler and Christopher Wayne (also known as The Naked Magicians, Australia’s biggest ever magic export) put their clothes back on to become the creators and part of the Showmen lineup.
As audiences return to theatres around the country, the biggest names in Australian magic have assembled their next sell-out smash hit Showmen – The Ultimate Magic Spectacular – a supergroup of conjurers, tricksters, comedians, illusionists, and daredevils. This show will be a jaw-dropping spectacle of live magic, illusions and escapes
Premiering with dates in the Easter school holidays, Showmen is a family-friendly, jaw-dropping spectacle of live magic, illusions and stunts. If you have been craving live entertainment, and want a bit of magic in your life, you can catch them with dates across South East Qld from April 7th to 10th.
With their return to Queensland following their Las Vegas residency and touring the world to over 300 cities since 2015, they’ve assembled the ultimate cast of performers who have entertained millions on TV including America’s Got Talent, Australia’s Got Talent, Entertainment Tonight, The Bachelorette and Big Brother. This production is truly homegrown with the entire team of producers, cast, and creatives heralding from South East Qld.
Showmen also stars:
- Josh Norbido (Australia’s Got Talent semi finalist) as the show’s beatboxing, hiphop dancing street magician.
- Apollo Jackson (Australia’s Got Talent) who’ll get your heart racing by showcasing the intimate side of magic. Many will remember Apollo as Sophie Monk’s love interest on The Bachelorette or the magical genie of Australia’s beloved Tim Tams.
- Joel “The Cirque Stuntman” Fenton rounds out the cast as the world renowned big top sideshow artist, who will have the audiences both in tears AND on the edge of their seats!
