Cheeky Poké is back by popular demand – coming to West Village as part of a brand new dining precinct. Cheeky Poké was part of the West Village’s pop-up Garden Pantry Restaurants back in 2018-2020, bringing healthy and customisable poke bowls (featuring fresh and cooked seafood, meat and plant-based options), unique poke-filled tacos and taro crisps.
The new West Village venue will be located on ground floor of the Peters Ice Cream Factory and is Cheeky Poké’s fifth Brisbane location.
The owner, Sam Demetriou found the inspiration for Cheeky Poké while on a trip to Hawaii, in 2017. West End is also close to Sam’s heart, thanks to fond memories of visiting his grandmother in the suburb over the years.
“My grandmother came from Cyprus in 1972 and moved to West End to be close to her family and community,” said Sam.
“It was great to open the pop-up, but now I’m really proud to introduce a long-term addition to the suburb that my family’s called home for decades.”
Cheeky Poké West Village opens June 9. To celebrate, they will be offering 30% off the entire menu.
