From the archives: This post is from our original site, MyCityLife back on 1 October 2014

Musician. Artist. Producer. DJ. The most influential person in dance. The Flume Epidemic has seen the distinctive music of Sydney North Shore Harley Edward Streten eat the whole of Australia. Since the day he found a music production disc in a box of Nutrigrain, the next decade has seen his rise and rise, cementing Australia’s place in the world of dance with the Future Classic Poster boy at the helm. The debut of his self-titled album has created waves worldwide, and with his side project What So Not, Flume can’t put a beat wrong. He is undoubtedly the future of Australian music. Since Brisbane first heard his beats live at 2012’s BIGSOUND and Riverstage welcomed him as part of his Australian tour in 2013, we’ve continued to eagerly Listen Out to his distinctive dance channel.

And in the lead up to his headline performance for Listen Out this weekend, MyCityLife sits down with the ultimate Flume playlist to Listen Out To; one destined to turn everyone – male and female alike – into a woo girl.

Flume & Chet Faker – Drop the Game

This is an obvious must-have on any Flume List. But we’re including this because we’re popping you on the mighty Flume spillway.

Hermitude – Hyperparadise (Flume remix)
Flume – Insane ft. Moon Holiday
Flume – Star Eyes
Flume – What You Need
Flume – Sleepless ft. Jezzabell Doran
