Ok, so European trips abroad are not on the cards at the moment, and probably not realistic for most of us at the best of times, but you can still have a French lunchtime adventure! Look no further than Brisbane’s luxury French brasserie Bisou Bisou.
Bisou Bisou is now offering an Express Lunch deal every Monday-Friday from 12noon – 3:00pm. For just $48 for 2 courses and $58 for 3, it’s a Parisian delight– no passport required!
With the choice of three options in each course, entrees include a cream of mushroom soup with truffled mushrooms on toast, a warm tartlet of caramelised onion, French lentils and noix de jambon or a baked crottin of goats cheese, marinated heritage tomatoes and basil pistou.
A delectable choice of mains includes a smoked rainbow trout salad niçoise, a parmesan and thyme crusted chicken schnitzel with caper beurre noisette or slow cooked beef check with red wine, bacon and shallot.
Don’t rule out dessert with lunch though, because you can also savour in a vacherin with strawberry meringue and guava sorbet, a delicious apple tarte tatin or an indulgent dark chocolate mousse with white coffee ice cream.
