Music lovers; this one’s for you.

The Sound Garden has opened its doors on Brunswick Street in Fortitude Valley, just next door to the new Fortitude Music Hall. Promising live music every night; consider it your go-to hangout for catching new music and artists.

With a 770-person capacity, The Sound Garden is big: there’s a skylight ceiling; multiple bar and alfresco dining spots; and an impressive seven-metre tall Ficus Hillii tree in the centre of the moody, two-storey space. But despite its grandness, the venue encapsulates the character and atmosphere of a small, intimate bar.

“We have worked tirelessly on this project for months and are very proud to finally open the doors and offer Brisbane a new space to find fantastic food, drinks and music every day of the week,” says The Sound Garden’s Venue Manager, Davor Djuric.

“The Sound Garden is such a significant development for Brisbane and will bring new life to Fortitude Valley, supporting the existing nightlife and live music scene,” he said.

Food And Drinks

Drinks-wise you can choose from a creative mix of cocktails, curated by Venue Manager, Davor Djuric and Bar Manager, Shane Lucas (we’re holding out for a Pretty Fly For A Mai Tai) and a generous offering of local beers and wines.

The menu, plated up by Head Chef Craig Watson, is share-friendly and focused on local produce.
