As an underground economy, BLKMRKT trades in secret experimental subterranean sounds for a revolutionary and radical approach to underground music. Prohibition Brisbane brings this monthly party to their dancefloor, presenting a careful selection of underground house artists for a diverse and musically astute crowd. This is one night where the crowd, the dance floor, atmosphere and music take precedence over anything else. BLKMRKT returns dance music to its roots with UK sensation Jesse Rose slated for October 30 and Chicago house legend Derrick Carter scheduled for November 13 in celebration of his first set at now infamous The Tube Nightclub. As the ultimate reunion for the infamous Brisbane club institution and the scene for modern-day Prohibition Brisbane, the glory days of 1995 and The Tube returns for one special night with local house music stalwarts DJs Rousey, Scott and Benn Hopkins onboard for a helluva ride.
