On Sunday, April 11, Fish Lane Arts Precinct’s Town Square will host the inaugural Fish Lane Markets, featuring an array of independent local makers and designers curated by popular collective The Market Folk. The Market Folk are the team that put on the markets at Gasworks and Portside too.
The Fish Lane Markets will run from 10am to 2pm on both Sunday, April 11 and Sunday, June 6, providing the perfect excuse for extending a Sunday coffee run to Cups on Melbourne or The Paladar, or enjoying a browse pre- or post-lunch at one of many surrounding eateries. The markets will showcase a range of locally-made goods including ceramics, art, accessories, plants, dog accessories, natural skincare and more.
Fish Lane is located directly across Grey Street from the Cultural Centre bus station and is an easy walk from the CBD and South Brisbane train station. Ample paid parking is available at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre, and limited street parking in the surrounding streets.
